On 20 July 2018, the personal data protection act came into force in Norway (GDPR)

Data protection legislation must, among other things, ensure integrity and confidentiality in the processing of personal data. FSG commits to safeguarding privacy, both for employees and for everyone we have contact with when processing such data. FSG will only use personal data for purposes that are objectively related to the company's activities and will comply with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for treatment?
The data controller is the one who determines the purpose of processing personal data. In FSG, the data controller is the managing director.

FSG will always ensure the secure handling of personal data and will only use it in accordance with relevant legislation.


What information do we collect, and what do we use it for?

FSG uses cookies on its websites. A «cookie» is a small text file that is stored on your PC and is used to recognise you and see what you do when you visit the site. It is also common to store choices and settings you have made on the site in a «cookie». The information we collect via «cookies» is used to analyse visit trends, so we can see if the site is functioning correctly and to improve your user experience. We never store information that can identify you personally.

Who do we share data with?

When you contact us via the form on the website, we will share personal data with others within FSG AS so that they can respond to your enquiries. We will not share or sell your data to others for marketing purposes.


Google Analytics

FSG uses Google Analytics to store data traffic from visitors. All data collected is anonymised and cannot be traced to individuals. The results from the collected data are used to optimise the user experience and tailor content to offer better services for website visitors. Examples of data collected from the website include: Operating system, trends and usage patterns on the site.


Rights

FSG processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. You can request access to your own personal data, as well as request correction or deletion of data.
If you believe that FSG handles information in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
