Ring Tore Teigen is the chairman and owner of Hellik Teigen AS in Hokksund, and is the third-generation owner of the company that has made a fortune in scrap metal dealing.
Vidar Svenning Olsen is the managing director of Ragn-Sells AS, a privately owned environmental and recycling company established in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The operations are primarily based on the transport, sorting, and processing of waste from businesses and private individuals.

70 years
Fana Stein og Gjenvinning is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. When the company was founded in 1954, its purpose was to extract stone from the site where Fana Stadium now stands. Today’s track and field athletes train at Høie Hall, which is named after FSG’s very first director. Gradually, FSG was given responsibility for disposing of all the rubble from Bergen residents, which was stored in an open tip in Rådalen, where Stavollen and the grounds of Stend Upper Secondary School are now located.
Today, FSG extracts stone from Stendafjellet, and the mountain halls left over from stone extraction are used for depositing contaminated materials that have not yet been able to be cleaned or washed.
Extraction and processing of stone remains the main business of Fana Stein og Gjenvinning, but according to managing director Karsten M. Gundersen, the new washing plant will contribute to a renewal of the business.
"In the future, recycling will become a more important part of our business," says Gundersen.
