FSG's washing plant treats contaminated soil and rock so that clean materials can be reused instead of being sent to landfill.

The mass is washed and sorted in several stages. Contaminants are removed, and clean fractions are separated out.

The water is treated in closed systems and reused at the facility. We do not discharge treated water into nature.

Clean and sorted products become new resources like crushed stone and gravel – ready for use.

Sludge and filter cake are safely stored in our rock cavern at Stendafjellet – with zero emissions to the surrounding environment.
